Monday’s Get-Going Song – What About Us by P!nk

The start of another week and summer is rapidly coming to a close so I want to cheer everyone up with a P!nk song! This is P!nk’s comeback track What About Us and she’s proving she’ s as good as ever! With her new album due out in October keep your eyes peeled for a review. To listen click below…

There is also another reason for today’s choice, yesterday P!nk closed the V Festsival with what I understand was a awe-inspiring set! There was a small fire at the start of her set followed by her forgetting the lyrics to her song, but never one to give up she got back on stage and pulled it out the bag!!!

I love this song, it is P!nk in a nutshell (not literally because that would be weird!). Her voice shines through and this song shows her ability to make you feel something you may never have felt before with her emotive vocals. I think this song could be taken two ways; at face value a song about heartbreak and broken promises but perhaps it has a deeper meaning the broken promises of world leaders. But the beauty of the message is that no-one but her knows what it truly is and perhaps to keep the song meaningful it should stay that way?

This video is also pretty cool, if only everyone solved their problems through the medium of dance… No matter what race, gender or sexuality just dance it all away with a pre-choreographed routine 🙂

I hope you like this track, let me know your thoughts. Are you a fan of P!nk, do you like the track and video or maybe you’re not so keen, tell me your thoughts in the comments section below. Also anybody else like the idea of G20 summits being dance-offs?

Awe inspiring vocals and lyrics by P!nk as always. I am great fan and she never disappoints. I can certainly think of a few I would like to see dancing through the wheat fields at the summit 😁
